This place is in an amazing and peaceful location, making it convenient for dining out and enjoying nearby bars, as well as being close to the beach.

An exceptionally comfortable hotel, my first choice in Knysna. Chilled-out base for discovering Knysna with very attentive and efficient staff with friendly service and prompt service from all the staff.

Neat, nicely furnished room with lovely views from the picture windows. Generally very good service with parking nearby.

The room was generously sized and airy with a separate shower and a jacuzzi in the separate bathroom. the location was perfect and exceptionally nice, next to several restaurants and Knysna. - Super breakfast and nice hosts. - the beach was close to the venue.

Fantastic views of the 'Heads' region of Knysna.

Dirty water came from the hot water taps in the bathroom. No apologies were made when this information was passed to management - rather, they agreed that the water was 'disgusting' and like 'sludge' and had been like that for some time! Overcharged for drinks in minibar. Finally, given two recommendations for local restaurants, both of which were shut when we arrived there.

Everything, best hotel I have stayed in. The whole staff was wonderful and thought of everything. They were so welcoming and helpful, more proactive that we were having a great stay than I have ever experienced before. The setting was absolutely gorgeous. I can't recommend Augusta Bay highly enough, best stay I have ever had.

The rooms are spacious and cozy, offering beautiful views through large windows and comfortable beds.

The staff were excellent and amiable, providing friendly and prompt service. the restaurant had a great view of the water and mountains. - the recently added seating area and adjoining terrace were much appreciated.

The rates were fabulous! Lea was the best hostess. She is very knowledgable, capable and even knows how to cure travelers' stomach woes with old South African remedies. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Satellite tv did not receive many channels.

Beautiful location, very clean and comfortable room with fantastic view over Knysna lagoon. Excellent value for money. Would loved to have stayed a few nights. Hopefully we will return some time!

It is an amazing hotel the view of the lagoon out of this world and been right on the beach with the resturant within walking distance, It is just a fab place

The unit was a nice size and well furnished with an amazing view. the terrace was a great addition. - Lovely pool on the property. - Perfect location in a very nice area.

This was our second stay and just a good as the first.The staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and of a very high standard, all the little extras have been thought of. Breakfast was a lovely spread. The locations is wonderful, right on the Knysna Heads. Would love another visit with more time.
